Detective Sara Pezzini's investigation of a murder reveals that the prime suspect is Lara Croft! After all, it was Lara who had just recently delivered an ancient sword to the victim, a renowned martial arts master. Sara finds Lara and begins to suspect the killer is still out there, along with the now missing sword. Last issue an aged friend of Lara Croft's, asked her go on a very dangerous mission to recover the lost Sword of Lucifer, a weapon of immeasurable power. He planned to hand it down to his apprentice, Daria. Daria, however, upon receipt of the dangerous treasure, used it to murder the very man who had given it to her.
