When Cannon is kidnapped in the presence of Lara Croft, she calls her friend Sara Pezzini, a New York detective and bearer of the Witchblade. They are both concerned that Cannon's associate, Aspen Matthews, may also be in danger, and so Sara locates her (on vacation in New York) to warn her. Together they go to find Cannon's boat in the harbor and are set upon by mysterious men with a strange water power. Meanwhile, Cannon awakes in an icy prison to learn that his captor is Vana, the mother of Taras, (see Fathoms #1-9) and she wants revenge. More Covers
