Lara Croft's quest for the unique and enigmatic Medusa Mask concludes when she and Chase Carver come face to face with the threat known as Skaratta! Also, an incredible secret from the past is finally revealed as the first Tomb Raider story line gives fans all the action and adventure they deserve!

Lara finds the Medusa Mask. Compton returns and tries to kill Lara. Lara and Chase can flee and take the mask with them. D'Arseine comes to get his mask and is killed during the attempt to wear it.

Part4:
Lara and Chase drop into a pool. They are now inside a cave. They wander along and find some dead bodies on their way. They discover the mask on a platform chained to the walls with lava underneath. Lara climbs along one of the chains to get to the mask. When Lara has reached the mask she has to think about Compton's death and wonders why the attacks on her have stopped now that Chase is with her. Then Compton appears again. He claims to be there to save Lara and strikes Chase down. He tells her that Chase's helpers are on their way. Lara climbs back towards Compton. Compton tells Lara that Carvers killers have arrived. He also tells her to give him the mask. But she refuses. Then Compton shows his real face, taking the mask from Lara. He tells her that the Croft's have treated him like a slave. He tells her that her father was holding him down. He also tells Lara that he's the one responsible for the plane crash. Lara was supposed to die as well and he would have inherited the belongings of the Croft family. Compton threatens to kill Lara. She attacks him and with Carvers help brings him down. Compton puts the mask on and is taken over by an evil force. Lara destroys it and grabs the mask. Then she jumps into the lava urging Chase to come behind her. They find that underneath the lave is water. Back on her ship, apparently she has more than one, D'Arseine comes to get his mask. D'Arseine who adored Lara's mother has a musical clock formed after her which Lara wanted in exchange for the mask. D'Arseine departs and his helicopter explodes during his attempt to wear the mask.

This is the end of the "Medusa Mask" Saga. But Lara and Chase will return in the next issue.
