When an old college friend tips Lara off to one of the most amazing archeological discoveries ever, she and Chase Carver find themselves in their most dangerous adventure yet! Watch, as the new millennium gives way to a past filled with dinosaurs and black magic in, "Ancient Futures"!

Vanessa invited Lara and Chase to her dig in New Mexico. They soon find out that something strange is going on when they are attacked by a Pteranodon. They follow a tunnel underground and come to a new world - with dinosaurs.

Part1
Lara and Chase are driving around with a jeep. They are arguing about Lara's driving style. Suddenly a Pteranodon appears out of nowhere and she crashes the car. She has to save Chase and then the two walk the rest. Vanessa comes looking for them with the helicopter. Vanessa shows them the dig site and a Triceratops they have found. Then she shows them some bones, that a less than a few years old and an entrance to an underground cave.

Underground they find drawings at the walls that indicate that dinosaurs and man coexisted. They find a passage that takes them further underground. Lara and Vanessa get separated from Chase when they enter the mist. They find themselves in a totally different world with dinosaurs. They are attacked...
