Version: 3rd revision Objective:
  • Find a way into the old prison
  • Use the communications cables to zip line into the prison grounds
Finds*: 1/3 Tombs, 1/1 Missions, 1/4 Challenges (Into Darkness 2/5), 3/14 Strongboxes, 0/2 Crypt Treasures, 5/18 Relics, 4/26 Documents, 4/12 Murals, 3/21 Survival Caches, 1/9 Coin Caches Enemies: Trinity Soldiers Region:Soviet Installation Base Camp(s): Train Yard, Logging Camp, Sheltered Ridge, Communications Tower

Find a Way into the Old Prison

You are rewarded with +150 XP. Take care of all the Soldiers in the warehouse. Again you should begin with the one on the upper level if you want to remain hidden.
Combat Details
Switch back to the bow, as it is a silent weapon. Take note of where the solider patrolling nearby is looking, before you leave your cover. Perform a headshot to kill the Soldier on the top level. Once again, if he is moving too much for your liking shoot an arrow into the wall behind him to get him to stop and investigate. Next kill the Trinity Soldier patrolling on the left with a headshot. Now look over to the right. A single Soldier can often be found investigating a computer console. Another headshot will take care of him. Two more Soldiers remain. Either take them out one by one or wait for them to meet up at the fuel leak.

Get over to the right and grab one of the lanterns. Throw it towards the fuel leak to trigger an explosion that will not only kill all soldiers in the vicinity but also tear an opening into the gate. Two more Soldiers will appear outside that gate. Finish them quickly while being careful not to get hurt by one of the explosions in the warehouse. The first I always kill with a quick arrow and melee combat if I miss the headshot. The second can be killed quickly by shooting the red fuel barrel outside. Right of the exit you can find some Handgun Ammunition. Step outside, where you can find a bush with Herbs on the right.
Mural (3/12): On the right wall you can discover the next mural Night Work, from the set "Soviet Crests". It will improve Lara's Russian (+25 XP).
On the left you can find some hardwood. Then get up the ramp on the right side and climb through the opening. On the other side you can find another plant offering hardwood. A little to the left you will come to the next base camp Train Yard. You'll get +25 XP. If you're playing on Survivor, you need to spend three pieces of hardwood to activate the camp. If you sit down, you'll get the Camp Journal The Face of Trinity. Further you can now swap your handgun for pre-order guns, if you have any. I should not have to tell you that you should spend any skill points you have earned. Behind the base camp, on the left, you can find another bush providing hardwood, which you should collect. Another thing I should not have to tell you by now. Besides, your inventory might be full by now, mine is. ;-) Follow the path.
Relic (1/18): Turn right, towards the carriage. In front you can find a hole in the fence. On the right side you can find a crate with salvage. Then step into the carriage. On the right you can find a small chest with the next relic, a Rosary from the set "Watcher in the Woods". It will reward you with +25 XP. Step back outside and slip through the gap in the fence again.
Survival Cache (4/21): Now head over to the left side. In the corner, near the spot where mud turns to snow, at the fence, you can find a Survival Cache with random resources. You will gain +25 XP.
Now climb up to the watchtower.
Map: Before you take the zip line down into the valley, you climb down to the right. At the bottom run to the left, in the direction of the broken bridge. On the left you can find a low wooden crate with the next Archivist Map, which adds document, mural and relic locations to your map, lying on top.
Gift of Alms: Behind the fence you can find a crate with salvage and a container with random resources, which will also get you +25 XP. Then climb onto the stacked crates where you found the map and jump over the fence with the barbed wire. Climb the ladder again to reach the top of the tower.
Now use the zip line to get down to the valley. You gain +25 XP. There you'll not only find the next base camp, Logging Camp, but also an ally who has a mission for you. However, before you accept the mission, sit down at the base camp to earn the next Camp Journal, In the Field. Again, those who play on "Survivor" must spend 3 pieces of hardwood to get the fire started.
You are now in a hub, with lots of things to do. You can work on missions, explore challenge tombs, fulfil challenges, collect items and hunt animals. If you'd just like to continue playing, you can do so here: continue with the story. But it makes sense to fulfil the first mission to gain a special gear item.

I won't collect everything possible, as some items are better left for later, to avoid unnecessary travel. In front of the hut you will find a strongbox that can't be opened yet, as you need a lock pick. You will also be unable to cut down the flag near the fence, as you will need a combat knife. There is also a crypt nearby that I will ingnore for now, since there is a yet unrevealed coin cache by its door.
Document (5/26): Before you do anything else, enter the hut. On the small table you will find the next document. It is A Closer Look from the set "Red Arrival". You'll gain +15 XP and improve your Russian (+15 XP). In the hut you can also collect some Rifle Ammunition.
Mission "Communications Breakdown": Talk to the remnant to be offered the first mission and accept it. (Use x to talk to him and accept it with A.) As you can see, as reward for this mission you will get the Lock Pick. Remark: To look at the mission objective, go to the map and press Y. Your current mission is: "Destroy the communications towers". There are five to be found. If you take a glance at the map, you can see them marked with green circles. In-game these communications towers can be identified by their red and blue blinking lights at the top of the tower, as long as they are still active.
1st Communications Tower
To reach the first communications tower, run up the path left of the water tower. Pass the watch tower on the left and head up to the large building ahead (north-east). It is an old saw-mill. Using the lorry parked in front, or the yellow ladder to the right of it, you can climb up to the building and reach the communications tower. Stand in front of the open communication repeater panel and use the axe to damage it by repeatedly pressing X. Before you continue towards the next tower, collect the crate with salvage in front of the large saw blade.
Relic (2/18) Now head over to the left side where you can scramble up the wall by a board with white marks to reach the medium level. Here run across the boards on the left side. You will find a crate with Salvage. Next step into the cage on the right where you find a small chest containing the next relic, Family Photo from the set "Gulag Possessions". You'll gain +25 XP for collecting the photo. Examine it: Look at the back side to discover writing and you will improve your Russian (+15 XP). Head back across the boards.
Strongbox (2/14) Still on the middle level, get behind the saw blade and look to the back (north) where you can see an orange crane in the distance. You want to climb the ladder, however first you should collect the crate with Salvage from the platform behind the ladder. Jump over there and pick it up, before you jump back. Now climb up the ladder to reach the top level. Here you can pry open the next Strongbox . Inside you will find a part of the Compound Bow (1/4) and you will gain +75 XP. Turn around and jump to the other side. On the way you can collect Feathers from two nests; one in the middle on the right side and one at the end in the right corner. If you were in possession of the knife already, you could also cut loose a crate with resources half-way on the left, and a soviet flag in the far left corner. Keep that in mind for later.
Mural (4/12) Finally head to the far left corner (south) to where the red flag is. If you now turn to the left and look towards the large rock formation with the next communications tower, you can see a roof below you, attached to the middle level of the saw mill. Hop down. At the wall on the left you can find the next mural, Star of Progress from the "Soviet Crests". It will improve Lara's Russian (+25 XP). Hop back down.
2nd Communications Tower
Take a look at the map to find where the second Communications Tower is located. It is east of the saw mill. Leave the saw mill towards the back (north), where you can spot a cave entrance on the right. In front you can collect Herbs from a bush on the right and often the Hide of a dead deer.
Challenge "Into Darkness" (2/5): Since we're already here, we might as well explore the cave. Enter to fulfil another part of the challenge and gain +35 XP. You will be attacked by a pack of wolves. Using poison arrows you can dispose of them quickly. Don't forget to collect their hides.
Map But you're not done with the cave just yet. Search it to find the Archivist Map at the back of the cave, on the left, which reveals documents, murals and relic in the area. Further you can find Mushrooms and Magnesite Ore. Now you're ready to leave the cave again.
Run to the climbable wall on the right of the cave entrance. Climb up. At the top jump up to the white handhold and shimmy around to the right. From the end jump to the right, towards the ledge and pull up. Here you will find a nest with Feathers . Squeeze through the gap to reach the other side where you will find another climbable wall at the end, on the left. Head up to reach a climbing ledge. Traverse to the left and at the end drop onto the top ledge. Later, once you've decoded a certain monolith, you will be able to find a coin cache here. Scramble up the wall and run around the ledge, till you reach a gap. Jump it and then scramble up the next wall. Immediately use the axe to grab hold of the climbable wall. Climb up to reach the next communications tower. Use the axe to pry loose the wires in the repeater panel, to deactivate the next tower. Then use the zip line to get back down. You'll land on a tree-platform with a crate of salvage.
3rd Communications Tower
After taking the zip line down, you are almost at the third tower. Look to the nearby cliff wall (east) and you can spot it. Jump over there and use the rock on the left to climb onto the upper level. Stand in front of the repeater panel and use the axe to deactivate the third tower. Climb down from your current ledge and you may find some Hardwood to the right.
4th Communications Tower
The next communications tower is north of your current position, again easily identified by the red and blue light at the top end. Run past the cave entrance. Ahead, just underneath the tower you can spot a climbable wall. The cave on the right is of no interest to you at the moment, since you are missing rope arrows. You could use it to push on with the challenge "Into Darkness", but you will find enough caves if you stick to the guide.) It's up to you, if you choose to start climbing at the lower left end or scramble up the wall on the right to jump to the upper part of the climbing wall. In either case, head to the right and upwards. Here you will find the base camp Sheltered Ridge, which will award you with +25 XP. Those who play on Survivor once again have to spend 3 hardwood to activate the camp. If you rest here, you will get the next Camp Journal, Important Work. Around the camp you can find two crates of Salvage and a nest with Feathers. Once you've collected those, get to the communications tower and use the axe with the repeater panel.
5th Communications Tower
The final communications tower is to the west of your current location. In fact it is on a lower level but for the sake of exploration we will head up instead. From the ledge with the Sheltered Ridge base camp, head towards the tree by the elevation and jump up to its branch. From the branch jump over to the higher ledge where a red cover is flapping in the wind. On the One you could also simply scramble up the wall, however this might not always work on the 360. Follow the path and at the end jump towards the Climbable Wall. On the ledge below you can only find Mushrooms. Climb up and follow the wooden walkway. The next communications tower is now right below you. So instead of jumping along, you drop through the gap and slide down the hill. Lara will end up at a hut. Behind Lara is a blocked cave entrance for which she will need explosives. Atop the watertower is another of those Soviet Flags for which she will need the knife. By the fence right of the watertower you can collect a crate with salvage.
Strongbox (3/14) Head up the wooden stairs to enter the hut, where you will find some Rifle Ammunition, a crate with salvage and a Strongbox which can be pried open with the axe. Inside is a Semi-Auto Pistol Part (3/4) gibt. You will be rewarded with +75 XP. Get back outside.
Run to the repeater panel in front of the hut and once again use the axe to cut off the power. You are rewarded with +50 XP.
Relic (3/18) Before finishing the mission you can grab another relic. Climb up the ladder to the wooden watchtower to find the tiny chest with the Wish Maker Toy, from the set "Gulag Possessions"-, atop. You will gain +25 XP. Since at this point in the story you do not have rope arrows, climb back down.
Finishing the Mission
Now it is time to return to the Remnant General to finish the mission. Get out through the gate and step towards the frozen river. Balance across the snow-covered tree trunk to the other side. Take note of the orange crane and the dangling tree trunk attached to it. This will be o interest very soon. But one thing at a time. Run along the path between sawmill and frozen river and past the bridge on the right. You will come upon a crate with salvage, near a stack of tree trunks. Ignore the hut on the right for now and run along the left of the rock and downhill to get back to the base camp. Talk to the Remnant General to finish the mission. This will get you the Lock Pick and +350 XP.
Strongbox (4/14) Now that you have the lock pick, use it on the Strongbox in front of the hut at the base camps. Press and hold X till the strongbox is open. Inside you will find another Semi-Auto Pistol Part (4/4). You will get +50 XP. Since this was the final part of the weapon it can now be used after it has been equipped at a base camp. At the base camp you will also be awarded another +100 XP for completing the weapon.
Challenge Tomb (1/3) "Ancient Cistern": Now it's time to explore another challenge tomb. Run up towards the old saw mill. Run along its left side and find the orange crane. Look up to the dangling tree trunk. Shoot at the structural weakness above the trunk to send it downwards. It will break through the boards on the floor and thus open up a shaft. Climb down the ladder.
Challenge "Into Darkness" (3/5): And once again you are inside a cave, the third one, if you've followed this guide closely. You will get +35 XP for advancing in this challenge.
Climb down to the level right below. On the right hand side you will find a vein with Magnesite Ore. Climb further down, to the bottom of the cave. Here you will find another vein of Magnesite Ore on the right.
Mural (5/12): Run over to the right, into a man-made chamber. At the backwall you can spot the mural Lessons of Loyalty of the set "Byzantine Inscriptions". It will improve your Greek (+25 XP). On the right wall you can also find another vein of Magnesite Ore.
Now get back to the left part where you find, opposite of where you came down, left of a stack of wooden boards, an entrance leading deeper into the catacombs. Follow the path downwards to reach the actual challenge tomb.
Relic (4/18): At the crossing with the puddle on the floor, you can find a small chest in the left corner, containing A Coin of the Realm, from the set "Icons of Kitezh". You will gain +25 XP. Turn the coin around to inspect the reverse where you will spot a depiction of the prophet. It will improve your Greek (+15 XP).
Step closer to the abyss and from here jump over to the climbable wall ahead, where you grab hold with your axe. Climb towards the right and downwards. From the bottom end, you jump over to the right (make sure Lara is looking to the right before hitting "jump", she likes to look up at this spot) and use the axe once more. Climb downwards and to the left, to reach safe ground. Here you collect two crates of Salvage, before you slide down into the tomb.
Relic (5/18): Here you will find the next small chest with a relic on the left side, which will award you with +25 XP. It is the Golden Icon, from the set "Icons of Kitezh". It holds no other secret, so there is no need to examine it more closely.
The passage hidden behind the rock on the left would lead you back to the entrance. That will be our way back, later. Instead head up the stairs on the right. From the wooden board with the red markings, jump towards the large beam, the counter-weight in front of you. This will activate the dangerous looking mechanism of antique rotor blades in the shaft below you and lower the water level significantly. Observe the rotating blades and let go (pressing B) at the opportune moment, when the gap appears below, to fall into the water. Swim towards the tunnel on the right and pull into it.
Gift of Alms: You will come upon a container with random resources that will award you with +25 XP.
The path to the left is blocked up, but that should not be a problem. Look to the right of the round portal, where you can spot a red oil cask. Shoot an arrow at the cask to detonate it and open up the portal. On the right wall you can find more Arrows, in case you need them. Swim through the opening and climb out to the left. Here you will discover the next base camp, Cistern Cavern, whose discovery is worth +10 EP. Survivors will need to spend three hardwood to get the fire burning.

Run across the narrow wall and at the end scramble up the wall. At the top run over to the right and jump from the board with the red markings towards the white ledges. Now that would have been too easy. You drop into the water. Swim to the left. A little reminder: by repeatedly pressing B, you can swim or dive faster. Swim through between the fences and into the entrance on the left to enter a chamber. Here you can leave the water on the left, where the next circular portal awaits you. Run over to the right and up the stairs where you will find an oil cask and Arrows; everything you need. Pick up the cask and throw it towards the round portal.
Pick up the cask with X. Switch to aiming by pressing LT and target your goal by using the right stick. Throw the cask with RT.
Now - while standing far enough back, of course - shoot at the cask just like you did at the previous occasion, to open the portal. The chamber is flooded. You need to return to the main chamber. To do so, either swim through the newly opened portal and follow the tunnel, till you can climb out on the left, to come out in the main chamber, or you simply dive back the way you came. As a reminder: diving was LT. Back in the large chamber you can see the next round portal on the left and further ahead is a floating wooden platform. Above the wooden platform is a large wooden flood gate like the one we've encountered in Syria. And also above, to the right of the flood gate is another counter-weight. Swim towards the stairs and climb out. Head up. Immediately on the right, leaning against a wooden table, you can collect a bundle of Arrows. Further along, on the right you can find a couple of oil casks. Pick one up and consider your options. Return towards the stairs and fling the cask onto the wooden platform floating in the water. Now return to where you found the casks.
Resources: If you look up to the wall ahead (north-east), you can seen an alcove. Scramble up the wall to reach it. At the end you can find a chest with random Resources. Get back down.If you miss the chance to collect it at this point, you'll get another after breaking through the wall and returning here. After rising the water level it will be too late, however and the alcove becomes unreachable.
Head up the next set of stairs.
Document (6/26): On the upper landing, turn right (north-west), before you continue with the puzzle. There is another alcove above you, so scramble up the wall. In case you miss it now, you can reach this alcove later by swimming here. It should further be remarked that there is a second alcove to the right of this one, which can only be reached swimming anyways. Here you will find the next document Correspondence from the set "Ancient Cistern", lying on the table. It will improve your language proficiency Greek (+30 EP) and gain you +15 XP.
Gift of Alms: Further there is a container with random resources in this alcove, that will reward you with +25 XP. Get back down.
Now step out onto the wooden ramp with the red marking and jump towards the counter-weight, to pull it down. This will open the large wooden portal and the floating wooden platform will be transported over to the left. Excellent. Drop down onto the landing below you and get the bow ready. Keep an eye on the wooden platform and get ready to aim at the oil cask once it stops for a short moment in front of the circular portal. Shoot it and the portal opens, raising the water level once more. Swim to the newly opened tunnel and wade through it. Leave the pool at the other end towards the right and circle around the mechanism to jump from the short set of stairs to the upper level. If you look behind you now, you see the next portal, but no oil cask in sight.
Resources: In an alcove up ahead you can find another crate with random resources. Get back down.
Dokument (7/26): Now, still in the chamber with the portal, head up the next short set of stairs. On the left wall (while looking towards the portal, so approximately south) you can see another alcove above. Climb in to find the next document lying on a table. It is A Warning, from the set "Ancient Cistern". It will improve Lara's Greek (+15 XP) and reward her with +15 XP.
Now head in the other direction and into the passage to the left, where you will find a crate with salvage. On the right you can use the axe to break through the damaged wall and get back into the main chamber, just above the round portal opening Jump into the water and swim over to the stairs on the other side again. And since we had so much fun with the floating board and the oil cask, we might as well do it once more. Grab a cask and throw it onto the wooden platform in the water. Run up the stairs and once again jump towards the counter-weight. Now drop down into the water and quickly swim towards the floating platform that has once again been tossed to the left, by the rush of water. Climb out onto it and grab the cask. When you approach the opening in the wall above, throw the cask in and quickly scramble up the wall after it. If you miss your chance to follow, you might swim through the tunnel once more, to climb the chamber on the inside. Now, with the cask in hand, get nearer to the circular portal. Throw the oil cask towards it and shoot it to open the portal. Swim through it (or dive back through the opening in the wall where you came in, which would be faster), to return to the main chamber. Swim towards the dome and climb out of the water. Open the secret pedestal to obtain the next codex and gain the ability Natural Instincts.
Gift of Alms: Around the codex you can also find a container with random resources, which will get you +25 XP and a crate of salvage.
Map: Remember the alcove in the wall into which we climbed when the water level was still lower? I mentioned that there was another alcove next to it, unreachable back then. Now it is time to explore it. Turn to face the backside (the one opposite the wooden board with the red marking; north-west). Jump into the water and swim through the arches there. The alcove you are looking for is the right one. If you missed the opportunity to collect the document and the gift of alms from the left alcove, you may do that now, of course. Swim to the right alcove and leave the water. Pick up the Archivist Map (for documents, murals and relics) - useless, since we've got them all now - and some Coins (+2).
Now it is time to leave the tomb again. Swim into the tunnel with the wall torch, in the east corner, where you can leave the cistern. Climb out at the end to return to the base camp Cistern Cavern. Swim and run through the next passage. Swim through the pool and climb out on the opposite side. On the right you may be able to pick up some Coins, they aren't always there though. Turn left and scramble up the wall to reach the handholds. Climb up and traverse around to the right. Here you climb further up and scramble up the wall to reach the top. On the right side of the large rock you can find a hidden passage. Follow it upwards. At the end scramble up the wall, vault onto the next level. Run further up, to reach the edge. Jump towards the climbable wall opposite and hold on to it with the axe. Climb up. At the top jump up and pull onto the ledge. Crawl through the opening and drop down at the end to get to where you found a relic some time earlier. Follow the tunnel upwards and on your way scramble up the wall twice. You will finally reach the upper cave again. Vault up the ledges and climb the ladder to get back outside.
Survival Cache (5/21): Time for another short trip to the next cache location. From the challenge tomb (the large opening behind the saw mill) run towards the orange crane. Slip past it on the right and pick up some hardwood on the left, behind it. Then run behind the rock to the right. Here you will find, shortly after the thin tree, in front of the tiny recess in the rock, the next Survival Cache, containing random resources and +25 XP. Return to the crane.
This is it with sidequests for now. You could collect more, but this would mean getting back and forth unnecessarily. We will continue the main story line to get more gear now.

We need rope arrows, a rifle and improving our Russian to decode another monolith and reveal coin cache locations is not a bad idea either.
Run to the north-east, for example following the frozen river upwards. If you aren't there already, run past the saw mill and behind the orange crane. From here head further up. You may find Herbs and Hardwood on your way. You will come to a climbable wall on the right which you should know from the previous mission, if you have played it. Reminder: The cave oon the right is of no interest to you at the moment, since you are missing rope arrows. You could use it to push on with the challenge "Into Darkness", but you will find enough caves if you stick to the guide.) Instead of heading up the climbable wall again, we will chose another - and actually quicker - way up. Left of the climbable wall you can find a tree. Jump up its branches, until Lara pulls up onto the top one. From here jump towards the plateau with the base camp Sheltered Ridge. Run past the communications tower and climb up the tree to jump to the higher ledge. Run past the ruin and at the end jump to the next climbable wall, head up and jump left to the second part where you climb to the top. Run ahead and onto the wooden walkway. (When you've played the mission with this guide, you slid down the slope below. But this time we will stay up here.) Jump across the gap and find that the next part of the walkway is unstable, so do not rest. Run along and jump whenever you reach the end of the current part of the walkway, till you reach the end. Alternatively, or if the walkway has already collapsed, scramble up the wall at the white board and jump up to the climbable wall. Use the axe to scale it. At the top run and climb to the left. Head up the first set of stairs. On the right side you can collect some Herbs. After the second set of stairs you will find a crate with salvage. (There is also another Soviet flag here, on the left, still no combat knife though.) Up the next stairs you can find a crate with resources on the left. Head up the next set of stairs. If you had taken the other route, you would be coming from the right, where you can also find some Hardwood. Here you can choose between three paths to get up onto the plateau: 1. The climbable wall on the right - which would get you too close to a group of Trinity soldiers. 2. The climbable tree on the level below on the left, which would enable you to reach some handholds that allow you to traverse left to a monolith - this route is a little more complicated. 3. The middle path, the one we will take: Head to the left. From the end of the stairs, jump towards the tree branch and swing towards the ledge. Pull up. You'll be awarded +150 XP.

Use the Communications Cables to Zip Line into the Prison Grounds

Monolith Straight ahead is a the next monolith. You will gain +10 XP for discovering it. Examine it, to unveil the location of three more Coin Caches and obtain another +25 XP. (I hope you've learned enough Russian. If not, you have not collected and read all the documents, relics and murals I've described in this guide. Looking at the map will tell you that two of these caches are in the valley below. We will come to them later.) If you like, you can find a nest with Feathers on the ledge below.
Head up the next stairs to find a hut guarded by three Trinity Soldiers. Two are at the base camp Communications Tower. You'll get +25 XP for disovering the base camp. To get rid of the soliders without much fuss, shoot a distracting arrow into the wall of the hut left of the solider standing there. When he comes to investigate, quickly finish him with a headshot. Then quickly fire a poison arrow right between the two guarding the camp. Simple as that. Now get to the base camp. Again those who play on "Survivor" have to spend 3 hardwood if they want to activate the camp. You may notice the obvious wooden boards in the wall above. You will nead another gear item to continue here. This won't happen until much later.
Coin Cache (1/9): Now you can search for the coin cache recently revealed by the nearby monolith. From the base camp head towards the fenced area at the edge. Left of the opening on the left side you will find the Coin Cache containing Coins (+7) and rewarding you with +25 XP.
Survival Cache (6/21): Now head towards the hut and run behind it on the right side. In the corner at the end, next to the tower, near the fir tree you will find a Survival Cache, with random resources and +25 XP. Return to the front of the hut.
Mural (6/12) Now get to the left side of the hut. On the wall you can find another mural. It is A Happy Land, part of the "Soviet Crests". It will improve Lara's Russian (+25 XP). Take note of the next Soviet Flag to the left of the crest, for later when you have the knife.
Get back to the front of the hut. On the porch, on the right side you can find a crate with salvage. Now use the axe to break down the door. Inside you will find a Trinity deserter who has had enough. He's prepared to trade with Lara and accepts Byzantine Coins. In other words, you can now use the Supply Shack. It is up to you what you purchase. I found it useful to purchase the Rope Ascender (even though it can not be used without rope arrows) and I had some coins left over to get the Pistol Suppressor or the Rifle Laser Sight. Once your shopping is done, leave the hut through the back entrance.
Document (8/26): On the crate right of the ladder leading up onto the tower you can find a voice recorder. It is New Intel from the set "Cospiracy Theories". You'll get +15 XP.
Now climb up the ladder of the tower. On the first level you walk over to the left and aroun the corner. At the end you will find a zip line. Jump up to it, to slide down into the Gulag.
A cut scene with Konstantin follows.
