Swim ahead.
Take a deep breath in the first cavern.
Dive further to the right.
Swim quickly to the left shore and climb out before the alligator can get you.
There you can find skulls you can use to distract the alligator.
When all alligators are distracted continue towards the next shore with the temple entrance.
Break the box on the right to get some ammo.
Then run up the stairs.
You can shoot the baddies in the head from down here.
Use the switch to lower a cage.
Kill the attacking baddy.
Then run to the top of the stairs and get rid of the next baddy.
Then run along the right end to get to the cage roof.
Jump onto it and from there onto the next platform.
Enter the temple and fill up your waterskin.
Run up the stairs.
At the top you will encounter a spike/dart trap.
Get past.
In the chamber use the switch to open the big gate by the temple.
Step outside.
Get over to the other side by swinging with the rope or by jumping into the water.
In front of the entrance on the left are some crates. Break them to find a medikit.
Now enter the temple.
