The long-awaited 7th part of the Tomb Raider series, which was for the first time not created by Core Design but by Crystal Dynamics came out on April 7th 2006 for PC, PlayStation 2, XBox and XBox 360. Later it was released for PSP (mobile) and Game Cube. The PSP version features exclusive content like special outfits and mini games. An adapted version of the game, which can not be compared to the real game, was released for Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance.
flic-flac (Kazakhstan)
During the adventure Lara will wear 5 different outfits:Legend (Bolivia, Peru, Ghana), Classic (Peru), Winter (Kazakhstan, Nepal), Winter No Coat (Kazakhstan) and Biker (England) 27 further outfits can be unlocked by finishing the game, collecting the 115 Rewards and beating the Time Trials. Three times throughout the adventure Lara will ride a motorbike. These are two different bikes by the Italian manufacturer Ducati. During the chases in Peru and Kazakhstan Lara will ride a Ducati Monster. On the rooftops of the office building in Tokyo Lara will ride a Ducati Superbike 999. In the Ghana cut scenes we see Lara riding her own bike. Another vehicle Lara has to steer in Tomb Raider Legend is a forklift in a museum Cornwall.

Amahlin (Ghana)
Lara's search for a stone dais will lead her to the temple ruins of Bolivia and Peru, followed by a trip to Japan (Tokyo) where Lara will explore rooftops and offices to finally get the first part of a sword. She then follows the trail of James Rutland to Ghana to claim his sword piece as well. Again Lara explores a temple ruin here. The most impressive scene in this section is probably the lovely waterfall of Amahlin. Her next stops are snowy Kazakhstan, where Lara explores a military base and after chasing a train a secret laboratory, and rainy Cornwall, England where she searches a closed King Arthur Museum to find the actual tomb of the King located below ground. From each of these stops Lara returns with another part of the sword Excalibur. These four parts in her luggage, Lara returns home to find that an important item, a key that combines the pieces, is missing. Coincidentally, this key was worn as brooch by Lara's mother, who lost it when they survived a plane crash in the Himalayas. Lara returns to Nepal to search for it and to reforge Excalibur.
